What are the limitations of the JO free trial? What can I try?
JetOctopus free trial lasts 7 days and is opened after a demo call.
You will be able to test all the modules of JetOctopus: Crawler, GSC Keywords, Ahrefs integration, and Log Analyzer (both with data uploads or real-time integration).
For crawling, you’ll get 10k URLs, no project, and domain limits.
For GSC Keywords, you’ll have 3 months of data available.
For exporting, there is a limitation of 500 rows per report.
Online support chat is available for everyone, even if your trial has ended.
As soon as the free trial ends, you won’t have access to your crawled and integrated data.
After you purchase a subscription, it will be opened again.
What is the maximum # of URLs JO can crawl?
JetOctopus specializes in crawling big websites. Even huge ones! If your website has more than 100mln+ URLs, it’s not a problem for us.
How fast is your crawler? Can it crush my website?
The maximum speed of JetOctopus crawler can go up to 250 pages/second.
But you can select the speed (# of threads) you need in your crawl settings so the website’s servers can handle it.
With the medium speed (5 threads), 1 mln URLs will be crawled in 1-2 days, depending on the website’s specifics (age, structure, daily load etc.)
But JetOctopus can crawl 1 mln URLs even in 1 hour if it won’t affect the website’s performance.
Will I be charged additionally for # of projects or users?
No, and never will.
You can have as many projects as you need, even within the smallest package, and won’t be charged for it.
How many websites can I have in my subscription?
As many as you need. For example, if you go with the package “Crawl 1 mln URLs monthly,” – you can have 2 websites 500k each, one big 1 mln-pages website, or even a hundred small ones!
What data retention period do you provide? Is it the same for canceled and lasting subscriptions?
12 months – for lasting subscriptions.
Infinite – for custom enterprise packages.
3 months – for subscriptions that were canceled. So if you don’t return back to JetOctopus in 3 months after you canceled your subs, all your previous crawling, logs and GSC data will be removed.
As soon as your Logs and GSC subs expire (date of subscription deactivation) – corresponding reports will be closed, but data will remain in the system for 3 months.
What does “No Log Line Limits” mean?
At JetOctopus, we stick to the principle that “more logs” means “better analysis”. That’s why we are first on the market who canceled limitations on log lines AND don’t charge for them.
On the contrary, our pricing is formed based on the number of unique website URLs, not log lines.
So if your website has 1 mln unique URLs, you can even upload 3 or 6-month historical log data – the price won’t change.
How frequently can I crawl my website?
For All-Inclusive and separate packages: as frequent as you need, but it should fit your total monthly crawling quota in URLs.
For No Limits: as many as you want. No boring quotas and limitations. Have fun! 🙂

- 16 months of GSC data for each project. 3 months – for a free trial.
- Up to 100 projects within 1 JetOctopus account.
