Are prices monthly or annually based?

We have monthly based subscriptions and also annual ones.

Can I have an annual subscription? Where can I order it? Will I have a discount?

Yes, we have annual subscription options. You can switch any time to annual packages.

For an annual subscription, you will have a 25% discount.

Can I have a custom pricing for volume that is not mentioned on a website?

Yes. As you see, the maximum size mentioned is 10mln URLs. But we don’t put any limits on our capacity – so if you have an inquiry for a bigger volume, do not hesitate to contact us via online chat or support@jetoctopus.com

If I need more Logs or GSC how can I add them?

It’s very easy down on the page you have the separate fields with Crawl, Logs and GSC where you can add additional volumes to your cart.

What does “No Limits” mean? Can I have a no-limits package?

For enterprise clients, we have a no-limits package.

In No Limits, you can crawl your website(s) an unlimited number of times – so there are no limits on the crawling volume.

Also, you’ll have no limits for loglines volume and 100 GSC properties.

If you are interested in this package please contact your sales manager, via online chat or support@jetoctopus.com

How many URLs do I need per month for crawling?

First of all, you should take into consideration all sizes of the websites you’re going to crawl per month (Size 1 + Size 2 + Size 3, etc). Then – how many times do you need to crawl each of the websites per month. Maybe some of the website segments should be crawled weekly or daily – so include them in your total estimation. This will help you to determine what will be your preferable monthly quota in URLs.

If you think that you are lost in calculations – we are happy to help and consult you 🙂

How can I find my website’s size in URLs?

There is no universal rule, usually, we combine several sources to identify the website’s volume:

  • Ask your devs/admins;
  • Search your website in Google with “Site:” operator (very rough estimation);
  • Check GSC > Coverage report. Usually, it’s a sum of Valid + Excluded pages (as non-indexable are pages also needed);
  • Check logs and calculate how many unique pages you have per month;
  • Make a test crawl (the most precise way). If it’s a huge website, we recommend starting with 1 mln URLs, so we can see the linking structure and make volume estimations.

But usually, it’s a combination of a few ways described above.

How do you define a volume for the Log Analyzer package?

In order to select the correct package for Log Analyzer, you should know the number of Loglines for the past month. We calculate only search bots visits (Googlebot, Bing). Here is an instruction on how to calculate log volume.

How does the number of GSC properties work? Can I switch the property from one project to another?

You have a certain number of GSC properties according to your subscription. If you delete the property you will have a quota to add another one only in the next billing period.

What is the price for JS Rendering? How do you calculate it?

1 JS rendered page = 2 simple crawled pages

Do I need to pay additionally for integrations like Ahrefs?
